Plans and Programs Committee

Established to develop, implement, and oversee strategic initiatives and ensures that the organization’s projects align with industry needs and national development goals.

Objectives

The Plans and Programs Committee aims to:

Develop and implement strategic programs that promote innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in the food manufacturing industry.

Identify key industry challenges and formulate responsive plans and initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners, to enhance program effectiveness.

Evaluate the impact of PCFMI programs and recommend improvements.

5

Secure funding and resources to support industry development projects.

Composition & Membership

Chairperson

Leads committee meetings, oversees program development, and ensures alignment with PCFMI’s strategic goals.

Vice-Chairperson

Supports the Chairperson and assumes leadership in their absence.

Technical & Policy Advisors

Provide expert program development and implementation guidance.

Secretariat

Coordinates meetings, maintains records, and supports communication efforts.

Members

Provide insights, contribute to advocacy initiatives, and actively participate in engagements.

Key Activities
