Advocacy Committee

The industry’s voice in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), consumers, and international bodies.

Objectives

The Advocacy Committee aims to:

Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments affecting the food manufacturing industry.

Develop and implement advocacy strategies to advance industry interests.

Foster collaboration with government, industry associations, and other stakeholders.

Promote best practices in sustainable food production and responsible business conduct.

Enhance the industry’s public image and engagement with consumers and policymakers.

Composition & Membership

Chairperson

Leads committee meetings, represents the industry in legislative engagements, and oversees strategy implementation.

Vice-Chairperson

Supports the Chairperson and assumes leadership in their absence.

Legal & Policy Advisors

Offer expert guidance on legislative matters and policy implications.

Secretariat

Coordinates meetings, maintains records, and supports communication efforts.

Members

Provide insights, contribute to advocacy initiatives, and actively participate in engagements.
